Accommodation in Port Edward on the KZN South Coast. Nestled in the peaceful suburb of Banners Rest, we are just a short drive away from the Wild Coast Casino, Port Edward’s main beach, and a host of other local attractions.
Step into a world of warmth and comfort as you enter our tastefully decorated Cabanas. Every detail has been well thought out for guests needs to ensure an unforgettable stay. Umtamvuna View Cabanas is the ideal base for exploring the Lower South Coast, offering luxury hotel-style self-catering accommodation with panoramic views of the mountains, gorge, Umtamvuna River, and a glimpse of the sea.
Each Cabana is fully equipped to provide you with a comfortable and self-sufficient experience. Whether you're a family, nature lover, or adventure seeker, we invite you to discover the tranquility of Umtamvuna View Cabanas.
Accommodation options include: With a total of 5 spacious, clean and secure units, A total sleeping capacity of 10 adults and 4 children is available, Umtamvuna View Cabanas caters to both small and large groups. Cabanas 1, 2, and 5: These cabanas are perfect for couples, offering a cozy space for 2 adults sharing a queen bed. Cabana 5 boasts spectacular views of the river and bridge from the outside balcony. On clear days, you can even spot ships passing by.
Family Cabanas 3 and 4: Ideal for families, each of these units accommodates 2 adults and 2 children. Both Cabanas feature private braai/BBQ areas. Cabana 4 is our largest, with a private bedroom and full bathroom, making it the perfect choice for a comfortable family stay.
Pool access: There are 3 Cabanas overlooking the pool and entertainment area which has a pool table and a dart board. (guests are advised to bring there own darts). A dry bar is available for you to mix a drink and relax at the pool while taking in the awesome views of the surrounding mountains. Cabana and 5 is a short walk to the pool area.
Nearby attractions: With so much to do in the area, you may want to even extend your stay. Some of the great activities include: 8 golf Courses all in the South Coast area. Hiking trails are available at the Beaver creek coffee farm which is a mere 3.5 km from us. Bottomless home brewed coffees are available with a variety of meals here and is well worth the visit. River cruises can be enjoyed from the Pont resort or the Wild Coast hotel and Casino. Wild coast Hotel also offers one of the biggest water pleasure parks and is very popular with many of our guests. Our main beach is situated 8km from us and is popular with tourists from all around. A short drive will take you to the very well known MAC Banana shopping complex and adventure playground
